It all began in 1969...
Established in 1969 in Portadown by Colum O’Farrell (Snr), The Deluxe Group remains a privately owned business, now led by Colm O’Farrell (Jr). The company has retained the positive attributes associated with a family-owned business but has combined these with a global outlook and innovative approach to grow from a specialist decorative finishes sub-contractor to delivering world-class turn-key fit-out interiors and show-sets internationally.

1969-2000
Deluxe begins trading as a specialist finishes contractor.
The years that follow see Deluxe garner success in the hospitality and marine industries, resulting in major projects onboard the QE2 and substantial work for the opening of the Euro-Disney theme park (Disneyland Paris). In 1990, The Deluxe team worked on former Iraqi President, Suddan Hussein's
Al-Faw Palace in Baghdad.
The Deluxe timeline
2000-2009
The beginning of the millennium sees the introduction of new digital technology, creating new and exciting ways of of visualising interior design. Deluxe continues to thrive within the hospitality industry, creating specialised venues with unique interiors.
2009-2012
With a growing presence within the fit-out industry, Deluxe's reputation for delivering bespoke joinery and specialist finishes gains the company a footing in the world of high-end retail interiors throughout the UK. Deluxe works with renowned brands such as Harrods, House of Fraser & Selfridges.
2012-2015
Deluxe is awarded major projects within the themed entertainment industry, completing the Ratatouille Chez Remy Restaurant and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at Disneyland Paris. Deluxe wins various showset packages within Motiongate at Dubai Parks, among these are major IPs such as Hotel Transylvania, Ghostbusters, Zombieland & The Green Hornet.
2015-Present
Deluxe's exponential growth over the last decade, sees the company expand across multiple sectors including luxury residential, hospitality, workplace, heritage & culture, marine and visitor attractions internationally. The company gains a reputation for creating authentic story-led interiors for internationally recognised brands including Universal Studios, Johnnie Walker, The Old War Office, AC Marriott, Marella Cruises, Disney and Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Deluxe opens a new state-of-the-art facility in Portadown in 2018. In 2023 Deluxe opens a subsidiary in Orlando, Florida, USA.
