In 2010 The Deluxe Group were employed by House of Fraser to deliver the re-launch of the iconic 60’s fashion brand BIBA to 35 stores across the UK and Ireland.

With a fixed launch date of 9th September 2010, a 6 week project lead-in and 4 week installation period, detailed logistics and planning was crucial for the successful delivery of the roll-out.

Deluxe worked closely with designers Brinkworth during the design phase to source key specialist materials, matching and developing the required ‘brass effect’ metalwork with the gold-painted timber perimeter and freestanding units. The metalwork five-coat system, was a specially created and developed ‘brass effect’ finish, and the woodwork gold paint was specifically formulated with a high content of real gold to meet Brinkworth’s original colour palette and specification.

The roll-out required the fit-out of a total of 35 concessions right across the UK and Ireland in period of just 4 weeks. At their in-house workshop Deluxe were able to manufacture and stockpile all the completed components prior to dispatch and installation on site on a “just-in-time” delivery basis.

All 35 concessions were installed in a period of just four weeks in August-September of 2010.
